– The activity around Integration Cloud has been fairly quiet, but a fair bit of content has been written on the related subject of Oracle’s Digital Assistant. There is a natural connection between the two products, that may not leap out. But the backend data sources needed to answer user interactions need to be accessed. Ideally, this would be through an API specification (giving clarity of data and interface behaviour) and serviced by OIC or microservices to ensure the abstraction/decoupling layer is protected. So any change to the backend is masked from the client systems.
